Owner and Managing Director. Phil is a Chartered Building Surveyor with expertise in Fire Safety, Engineering and Design. He has contributed to the Scottish Government and Parliamentary Committees on current and proposed Cladding Remediation Legislation. Phil is responsible for all Fire Engineering related matters, the overall management of the business and business development.

Steve is a highly experienced Chartered Fire Engineer with extensive experience in all aspects of Fire Engineering extending to 30 years. Steve is also an experienced fire investigator and is a specialist consultant for International Fire Investigators and Consultants. He has prepared numerous reports for court and appeared as an expert witness. Steve has specialist knowledge including Fire Safety within Nuclear & Offshore Facilities.

Director responsible for Building Consultancy and the provision of Building Surveying, Architectural, Project Management and Principal Designer Services. Jim has over 30 years’ experience across a variety of sectors including retail, industrial, commercial, residential, leisure, logistics and healthcare for both private and public sector clients. Alongside being project lead, he undertakes CDM PD roles and also manages compliance including ISO and Health & Safety.

Stephen is Technical Director responsible for review and assessment of production information including drawings, details, specifications and product selections. Stephen is also skilled in process and programme management reviews and assists in allocating team resource to a variety of projects.

Claudia is an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor and provides Building Consultancy support to a variety of clients including Building Surveying, Professional Services such as Acquisition and Condition Surveys, Dilapidations, Architectural and Contract Administration. She is experienced in design, specification and tender production and contractor management.

Sophie is an experienced Project Architect having worked in both Scotland and England in her career. Sophie is experienced across a variety of sectors and assists in design and delivery of a mixture of schemes including commercial, retail, residential and industrial. Sophie adept at full project management including all drawing, detail, and tender document preparation.

Nicolle (Nic) is an experienced Fire Engineer having worked both in the UK and Internationally. Nic is experienced in all aspects of Fire Design, Fire Strategies, Building Regulation advice and compliance, materials performance and specification. Nic is experienced in the production of PAS 9980 and FRAEW reports and assisting on Building Safety Act compliance on HRB’s.

Tom is a Building Surveyor currently working toward his APC Chartership. He currently assists on all Building Consultancy work including contract, design and professional services such as dilapidations, condition surveys, building pathology and contract administration work. With a strong background in Fire Engineering Tom is also an accredited Fire Risk Assessor and continues to assist the Fire Engineering team as required. Tom is adept on technology and software solutions development for the Technical Services Team.

Paul is Senior Architectural Technologist and has significant experience in detail and drawing production across a wide variety of sectors and clients. Paul is experienced in Retrofit design and assessment including specification of materials and in obtaining planning and building regulation consents.

Megan is an Architectural Technologist who assists in the design and production of drawing and details in AutoCAD and Revit. Megan is also employed as lead researcher and collator for all information gathered for project needs including historic building information, consents and archive materials.

Cameron is an Architectural Technologist and produces a variety of design and production information in Auto CAD and Revit. Cameron produces and specifies technical information and details including drawing pack information for planning, building regulations and construction issue. Cameron assists in architectural design and space planning exercises and assists the team on contract administration projects.

Matthew’s background in mechanical services design means a strong understanding of building services design, use and sustainability. Matthew is accredited to produce SBEM and EPC’s and assists the Building Consultancy and Architectural Teams. He also undertakes on-site survey support including intrusive surveys, drone use and is also a Fire Risk Assessor for the Fire Engineering Team.

Cameron is a Façade Designer and also assists with wider Architectural support including the production of CAD and Revit drawings and details. Cameron is also skilled in the production of 3D modelling and visualisation models and walkthroughs. He assists a number of clients in statutory consent applications.

Josh is a Survey & Architectural Technician and assists in the Technical Services Team with the collation and production of all survey information including the production of 3D digital twin surveys, laser measuring, i-guide survey and CAD & Revit model production. Josh is also trained for drone use.

Christine is PA to the MD and office manager. Christine also undertakes office accounts and management and assists in HR and production of correspondence, business reports and finance.

Sharon is a highly experienced in all aspects of Building Consultancy support. Sharon assists and manages the production of technical, drawing and report information, technical documents, tenders, specifications and assists in client management. Sharon provides assistance on client account and financial management. She assists in HR and manages and maintains the office ISO system, training requirements and accreditations.

Kirsty delivers and manages the EWS1 surveys and forms on the fire compliance and engineering side. Kirsty is responsible for managing enquiries, arranging survey inspections and issuing EWS1 forms. Kirsty also assists on Retrofit work and account management. Kirsty is experienced in other admin and technical support functions for the wider team including communication, hardware and IT management.

Craig is a Chartered Accountant and is responsible for financial accounting and management of the business. Craig assists in delivering solutions for business growth and opportunities. Craig is a recognised mentor and publicist on all things knowing your numbers.
